WANA NAGC Joint Convention was one of the most successful programs in the Bay area. Former Minister and parliamentarian, Bal Bahadur KC, former Minister and parliamentarian Bhakta Bahadur Balayar, NRNA NCC USA president Khagendra GC, Nepali Janasamparka Samiti America president Anand Bista, Nepal Embassy Consul General Narayan Prasad Sharma, Honorary Consul to San Diego Rishi Dhakal were among the important guests. Other important guests were AFNO President Rajendra Khatiwada, social activist Bishnu Maya Pariyar, businessman Sanu Babu Silwal and many other important people attended the function. There were inauguration ceremony and various forums like NRN form, Jamnsamparka forum and other forums. It was a two day program with a grand cultural performance including the dances of cine artist Usha Paudel.
